Ninth Letter Publication 15.1

A graphic design course that spent 16 weeks designing and printing a full book for the magazine called Ninth Letter. I worked with a class of 18 students to develop the layout, design artwork for the book and making key publishing decisions. (More info)

This edition strayed away from previous editions by separating the categories into four booklets. This created an interactive element to this story where it allows readers to handle information in small parts and allow the art & graphic elements to be separate entities that match the specific theme in each category.

I was responsible for laying out & did the additive illustrations on the About Us page. As a team of three, we wanted to separate our page from the rest of the book, so the illustration style and color palette is shifted to mirror a true crime themed page.
